The SteriTec Steri-Vapeur 18 uses top-of-the-line ink that changes from purple to green to provide an integrated response to steam sterilization at 134°C (273.2ºF) for pre-vacuum sterilizers operating for 4 minutes, and 18 minutes or longer.
The Indicator has two different timing indicator inks printed on each indicator. If both spots turn green the Steri-Vapeur has been subjected to a steam sterilisation process for 18 minutes or longer. If only the 4 minute spot turns green, sterilisation conditions were met for 4 minutes or longer.
The Steri-Vapeur 18 gives a visible confirmation of the attainment of sterilization conditions at the location within the sterilizer chamber for the specified times. Lead free, plastic laminated.
